RVCF's "ICE" Conference: Innovation, Collaboration and Execution


RVCF LogoRVCF's Annual Fall Conference agenda is close to completion, just waiting for a few last minute retailers to sign up for breakouts with their suppliers. If you're part of merchandise procurement with a retailer or responsible for order management for a merchandise wholesaler or manufacturer, then you need to attend the RVCF Fall Conference. Unlike any other retail conference, RVCF brings true retailer-supplier collaboration to the table - in fact, we sit retailers down with individual suppliers 700+ times throughout the event. Call it "speed dating," call it anything you want, but what we desire to have our attendees accomplish at these meetings is priceless!

60+ programs over a two-and-a-half day period offers attendees deep dives into supplier relationship management; customer relationship management; all things retail compliance (social, labor, customs, product and vendor); global sourcing; and finally, our latest focus addition, inventory planning and replenishment. RVCF's mission isn't about a job function - we're not into standards - what we are focused on is for retailers to gain an error free flow of goods to market and for suppliers to increase sales, improve supplier scorecard performance, and be paid in full by eliminating chargebacks. Plus, we have a great keynote as futurist Jim Carroll will look at the ever-changing consumer and how they will shop.

For those attending 40+ retailers, we're the "go to" organization when it comes to merchandise supplier management, but this is also true in a collaborative sense. Accurate planning and forecasting can eliminate friction between trading partners. We examine the lifecycle of a purchase order, look at ASN accuracy, lead time, and on-time delivery. No stone is left unturned! We jump right between the retailer and supplier to assure that both entities experience a successful event. For retailers, meeting with and communicating with your key suppliers improves performance, reduces errors from miscommunications and disconnects, and drives speed to market.

Finally, at RVCF events there's no pontification - we check the egos at the door. These are working events that drive solutions. We represent the dedicated, proactive middle manager that has to make it work day in and day out.
