WORKSHOP

It’s no secret that resilient organizations have strong leaders. But in today’s increasingly volatile globalized economy, the need for executives who can collaborate, inspire, and motivate is more acute than ever. As management, do we realize that by 2025, 75% of our workforce will be millennials? We need to ask ourselves what are we proactively doing to train and develop these workers to be our future leaders. In this webinar, based on the teachings of John Mattone, Executive Coach to Steve Jobs, we reveal key insights for unlocking and unleashing greatness in yourself and your teams.

Intelligent Leadershipfirst analyzes “outer-core” competencies including decision-making, emotional leadership, communication, and talent management. Business coach, John Mattone, arranges these skills in the Leadership Wheel of Success™, an innovative diagram that shows how your fundamentals of character and self-concept translate into your actions. From there, we will delve into the “inner-core” elements that hold the key to maximizing your strengths and overcoming your weaknesses as you grow into a  global business leader.

As we begin to understand the inner and outer core competencies, we will be able to use the map to identify nine specific types of global leaders, challenging you to examine your own style, strengths, and weaknesses. Each type of leader will be explained and examples of how to enhance the leader strengths and overcome the weaknesses will be discussed. By examining all nine types of global leaders in depth, you will have the knowledge and expertise to build a roadmap to become an well-balanced global leader.

Learning Objectives:

When you have completed this course you will understand:

2.       Your outer core

PRESENTER

Presenter ImageMary Kuniski, CEO and Executive Coach, Golden Professional Coaching LLC

Mary Kuniski is a catalyst for business and individual change. Throughout her twenty-five year career as an executive leader in the retail industry, she consistently led corporate businesses into the future, often achieving process improvement and change that others could not. Mary’s enthusiastic attitude and tenacious ability to keep moving forward are why she identifies with this quote from Dale Carnegie: “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.” Passionate about coaching and leading others, Mary is driven to ensure that everything she does provides lasting value. At a young age, her leadership and public speaking skills were recognized and nurtured through her ten-year participation in 4-H. She has also fostered change for businesses such as Parkinson Voice Project, where she directed the implementation of their website and online learning management system, and Overhead Door Corporation, where she created and launched a successful core data improvement strategy. During her tenure as the Vice President of Vendor Collaboration with The Michaels Companies, Mary pioneered the development of a new team called vendor relations. She developed a training and communication program resulting in a 99.9% shipping compliance from her vendors. Due to the trust she developed with the vendor community, Mary successfully led The Michaels Company global expansion into Quebec by directing the retailer’s efforts to convert its packaging to three languages in 18 months. As a result, Michaels became the first international retailer to acquire language certification from Quebec on the initial attempt. Mary is a Dale Carnegie graduate, certified trainer, and consultant for Dale Carnegie DFW's Executive Leadership training. She is also a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Certified Coach. While at Michaels, recognizing a serious diversity gap in the Executive Committee of the organization, Mary initiated, mentored and moderated a diversity leadership group called Women in Leadership, which grew from 15 women to over 200 diverse leaders from around the organization. Mary holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a degree in Human Development from Pennsylvania State University. She actively coaches executives using Marshall Goldsmith’s Global Leader of the Future 360 survey and methodology.
