Special Programs on Sunday, November 5, 2023: - Supply Chain EDI (4 Course Offerings) - Starting at 10:00 AM,hosted by EDI Academy. Topics include explaining components of the EDI Environment (translator, mapper, personnel), EDI onboarding best practices, and EDI Connectivity (AS2, VAN FTP), retail EDI transactions such as the 850 PO, 856 ASN, 855 PO Ack, and 810 invoices. Attendees will get an introduction to raw EDI data and be able to conduct EDI mapping exercises. - Workshop – Pursuing Perfect Fulfillment in a Dynamic Environment hosted by Auburn University and led by Supply Chain Experts from Auburn University and the Retail Industry. Achieving peak performance in retail supply chains is difficult in any environment, but especially so amid so many unknowns. While transportation constraints are subsiding, sourcing stability continues to be challenging, costs remain stubbornly high, and consumer demand is less than robust. Supply chain professionals must understand these near-term challenges and formulate logical strategies to consistently meet customer requirements. The workshop leaders will help you delve into sourcing strategy, network agility, and technology deployment to ensure perfect order fulfillment. Session leaders will use interactive discussions and activities to help you recognize key challenges, address talent and technology requirements, and analyze innovative strategies for supply chain success. Payment Payment must be received prior to event taking place or registrant forfeits right to participate. Exceptions must be approved in advance; request for exception may be submitted to events@rvcf.com.
Registration Cancellations In the event of registration cancellation, a credit will be applied towards a future RVCF event, less a
25% administrative fee. Credits must be used within one (1) year of issue and may be transferred to another attendee from the same organization. No credits for any cancellations for events where the registration rate is below $300
per person or where cancellation takes place within 7 calendar days of the start of the event. All cancellation requests must be submitted to events@rvcf.com.
Substitutions may be made at any time.
Acts of God, Fires, Strikes, or Cancellation of Event In case this event is interrupted, postponed or discontinued due to (i) the event
venue having been destroyed or damaged, or (ii) if the event fails to take place as scheduled or is interrupted or discontinued for any reason, or (iii) access to the premises is prevented or interfered with by reason of any strike,
lockout, injunction, act of war, act of terrorism or threat of terrorism, declared pandemic, act of God, emergency declared by any governmental agency, etc., the attendee/registrant waives any and all damages and claims for damages,
and agrees that the only liability of RVCF shall be, at RVCF's sole option, either to (a) reschedule the event or (b) to return to each attendee its registration fee, less a pro-rata share of all costs and expenses incurred by RVCF.
