2015 RVCF Spring Conference

Join us for three days in the New York/New Jersey area for the 2015 Spring Conference as we celebrate 15 years of harmonizing the retail / brand relationship.

In the RVCF spirit of collaboration, retailers are committing to work with their suppliers, strengthening relationships, confronting issues and discussing initiatives.

Keynote Speaker:
Dr. James A. Tompkins

Dr. James A. Tompkins is an international authority on supply chain strategy, focusing on implementation of end-to-end supply chains that are demand driven. As the founder and CEO of Tompkins International, he provides leadership for Tompkins globally.

His 35-plus years as CEO of a consulting / integration firm and his focus on helping companies achieve profitable growth give him an insider's view into what makes great companies even better. As a high-level business and supply chain strategy advisor, his unique perspective prepares corporations and executives for the future.

Keynote Session:

In the wake of Alibaba's wildly successful IPO and investments in new markets, a shift in commerce is taking place. This shift is brought about by evolutions in technology, globalization, and supply chain, and it will affect all aspects of commerce. This shift is called the Alibaba Tidal Wave.

In his groundbreaking presentation, CEO and supply chain expert Jim Tompkins answers the question many are left wondering about Alibaba: "What's the big deal and how will I be affected?" Tompkins will lay the groundwork for understanding how the Alibaba tidal wave evolved and will also reveal the six key elements to "riding" the Alibaba tidal wave.

Tompkins is changing the lens for how the U.S. views Alibaba. Attendees will leave this session with a newfound understanding of globalization, marketplaces, and omnichannel.
