RVCF Announces Formation of E-commerce Working Group

Amazon – a consumer's shopping Mecca and a manufacturer's nightmare. But, let's face it – doing business with them has become "a must." And we feel your pain. RVCF has spent the last few years reaching out to anyone and everyone we can find to help you in dealing with them. Sadly, Amazon won't show up. Consultants can help you plan, forecast and sell, but they run when the back end issues arise. At the end of the day, a sale is not a sale until the check's in the bank. So, it's our turn. It's time we figure this out together.

RVCF announces the commencement of the RVCF E-commerce Working Group with our initial focus on Amazon. We're going to dig in and dissect the problems in an effort to find the answers. We're going to tap into the success stories. We're going to keep each other in the loop. We're going to get this done.

Our first meeting will take place at the RVCF Spring Conference on Wednesday, May 10th. We'll begin by covering some of the more popular topics:

  • Order Fulfillment
  • Ship Windows
  • Prep Work
  • Carton Labeling
  • ASN Match
  • Shortages (and coordinating chargebacks)
  • Deduction and Dispute Resolution
  • Payment Process

We've got some resources together to share with the group and we'll be calling on each of you to step up in terms of participation – panels, presentations, expertise, etc. This works if we all invest our time and energy into collectively mining solutions. Going forward, regular on-site and virtual meetings will be held.
