GS1 US

GS1 US serves more than 2 million businesses in 25 industries in the United States by facilitating industry initiatives, administrating the GS1 System of standards, providing education and support, and connecting communities through events and online forums.

GS1 US administers the Apparel and General Merchandise Initiative, an industry group launched upon its merger with the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions (VICS) in 2012. The Apparel and General Merchandise Initiative is committed to defining business challenges and opportunities and organizing members to explore solutions and create adoption plans.


NEECOM

NEECOM

The New England Electronic Commerce Users' Group (NEECOM) is a nonprofit organization established in 1990. Today its members are large and small organizations in a variety of industries. These members include manufacturers, distributors, retailers, hospitals, insurance companies, motor carriers, universities, banks and government agencies. The common thread is their interest in EC/EDI and related technologies. They welcome companies who are at any stage in their implementation of Electronic Commerce and hold two conferences each year (May and October) at the Doubletree Hotel in Westborough MA.

Remittance Coalition

The Remittance Coalition is a group of organizations and individuals working together to promote greater use of electronic business-to-business (B2B) payments and electronic remittance data exchanges. The Remittance Coalition's objective is to increase the efficiency with which business-to-business payments are made and reconciled by all types and sizes of U.S. businesses. The Coalition will accomplish this objective by promoting more unified standards, processes and common automated tools that support: (1) Using more electronic payments for B2B transactions, and (2) Originating and delivering electronic remittance data that can be associated easily with the payment.

SmartWay

The SmartWay® Program is a public-private initiative between EPA, large and small trucking companies, rail carriers, logistics companies, commercial manufacturers, retailers, and other federal and state agencies. Its purpose is to improve fuel efficiency and the environmental performance (reduction of both greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution) of the goods movement supply chains.
